The Jonas Brothers star admits he was bitten by the acting bug early on, as a kid on the Disney Channel, and loved making the band's 2008 movie Camp Rock. J

onas is keen to expand his acting repertoire, and wants a career in the mold of Johnny Depp.

The 19-year-old tells Seventeen magazine, "I would love to do more acting, maybe movies - that would be really cool. I think Johnny Depp's work is really great - he always incorporates music into what he does."

The ambitious star also has literary aspirations, adding, "(I'll) maybe write a book one day, because I love to read."
