Reports surfaced on Tuesday suggesting that the DJ's family had contacted Los Angeles police in a bid to keep the former lovers apart. The news followed rumors that Lohan had attempted to barge into a family event held at the city's Chateau Marmont hotel on Friday after she had been banned from attending it. Ronson was subsequently photographed having the locks changed on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with Lohan.
However Ronson's attorney, David Bass, insists the break-up will not be dragged through the courts. He tells People.com, "Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one."
While an insider adds, "Sam does not want a restraining order against Lindsay Lohan. Sam and Lindsay are broken up, but Sam does not feel she's in any danger whatsoever. She thinks the whole thing is absurd. "
Lohan confirmed the split on Monday.
