Jon Gosselin Says His 8 Kids Are Happy

NEW YORK (AP) - Jon Gosselin is disputing reports that his eight children have been hurt by the family's reality TV series.

Gosselin and his wife, Kate, have drawn tabloid attacks as they continue to appear on TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8." The couple have denied allegations that they cheated on each other, but have acknowledged their marriage is struggling. He rejects the Pennsylvania labor department's widely reported suggestion that the children are being exploited by the TV series.

He tells People magazine that even in the media glare, their 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets are happy and healthy. Gosselin says both he and Kate have worked hard to raise them that way.
