Lady Gaga has vowed never to sit alongside Simon Cowell on his American Idol judging panel, because it isn't her job to tell wannabe singers if they have what it takes.

The "Just Dance" pop sensation got her start in the music industry writing songs for established acts such as Britney Spears and the Pussycat Dolls before carving out a successful solo career.

And her slow rise to the top has shown her she could never take part in auditioning artists on a TV talent show, insisting every musician has the right to try for stardom.

She says, "I've never been asked to be a judge, but I wouldn't say yes if I was.

"I don't believe it's right to judge music. It's so personal. Right now I'm possessed with this incredible instinctual energy to write joyous melodies. I don't know where it's coming from."

Britney Spears Cancels Poland Concert

Britney Spears has apologized to fans in Poland after axing her upcoming tour stop in the country's capital.

The pop star has been performing in Europe with her hit live show Circus, which was scheduled to stop in Warsaw on July 24.

But the 27 year old was forced to cancel the concert after her management team failed to resolve a contractual dispute, according to a statement released by her publicist on Wednesday.

It reads, "Britney regrets that she will not be visiting Poland's capital during her world tour. She apologizes to all her loyal fans for the cancellation and hopes to visit the culturally exciting city of Warsaw in the near future."

Spears' Polish show would have been her penultimate performance on the continent. She ends the European leg of her jaunt in Berlin, Germany on July 26 before taking the concert back to North America, where it kicked off.

The film is based on a best-selling book by Aprilynne Pike. Published in May, the novel is the first of a planned four-book series.

The Hannah Montana star is currently shooting "The Last Song," an adaptation of a novel written by Nicholas Sparks.

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus had the chance to make a lot more than the $10,000 a day paycheck she took in while making last year's Disney hit Bolt.

According to TMZ, Miley's contract for the film gave her the opportunity to make another $175,000 if the movie grossed $125 million or more in the U.S.; but, unfortunately for the star the film only grossed $114 million.

Further incentives reportedly would have paid out even more for every additional $25 million over that mark.

Miley recently released a third soundtrack from her hit Disney show, "Hannah Montana 3 - Songs From The Hit TV Series". On the album she collaborates with American Idol finalist David Archuleta, "Hannah Montana" co-star Mitchel Musso, and High School Musical alum Corbin Bleu.

The pop star is currently on the European leg of her global jaunt, but she reveals she's already coming up with new tunes for a follow-up to her 2008 LP Circus.

And she's reunited with longtime collaborator Max Martin, the brains behind her hit singlesOops I Did It Again and ...Baby One More Time, during a tour stop in the producer's native Sweden.

Jonas Brothers To Star In 'Camp Rock 2'

The Jonas Brothers are set to star in a sequel to their hit movie Camp Rock. The teenage sensations appeared in the Disney musical last year and now film bosses are scheduling "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" to be released in 2010.

Actress Demi Lovato will reappear alongside the band in the new installment, which sees them arrive at the camp only to find some of their students and instructors have set up in rival complex, Camp Star.

Chloe Bridges, a classical pianist, will debut in the movie, and hip-hop artist Matthew 'Mdot' Finley will also cameo in the film.

Paris Hilton On Trial For Not Promoting Her Film

MIAMI (AP) - Paris Hilton is on trial in Miami, accused in a federal lawsuit of not doing enough to promote her 2006 sorority hijinks movie, "Pledge This!"

The lawsuit filed on behalf of some film investors claims the 28-year-old Hilton didn't honor her contract to promote the DVD release. The lawsuit seeks more than $8 million from Hilton and her entertainment firm.

The film was an abject failure at the box office, making about $2.9 million worldwide. Hilton contends she did everything she could to plug the movie.

The trial begins Thursday, and Hilton is expected to testify Friday. She's been in Dubai filming her "My New BFF" reality show.

The lawsuit was filed by a court-appointed receiver for a defunct Miami entertainment company that invested in the movie.

Lindsay Lohan Sued For Stealing Tanning Spray Formula

Lindsay Lohan has been targeted in a new lawsuit accusing the actress of stealing the formula for her new tanning spray.

The 23-year-old Mean Girls star launched her tanning potion Sevin Nyne in April - touting it as the secret to her glowing complexion. The actress claims she has spent three years developing the product with Lorit Simon, a Las Vegas entrepreneur who tans Hollywood A-listers.

St. Petersburg, Florida-based chemist Jennifer Sunday claims she showed Simon her tanning mist samples in January and she alleges the pair stole the formula.

According to federal court documents filed in Tampa, Florida, Sunday is suing the pair for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets, civil conspiracy, intentional interference with contractual relations and deceptive and unfair trade practices.

Cohen's attorney tells the St. Petersburg Times, "The next thing we know, Lorit Simon and Lindsay Lohan are partnering and Ms. Lohan is taking credit for developing this formula, which she indeed had no role in... We are certainly looking for the profits that are being generated right now from that product. If Ms. Lohan and Ms. Simon and their companies and their shareholders are profiting from the theft of my client's formula and are profiting from that product, my client is entitled to those proceeds."

A publicist for Lohan could not be reached as WENN went to press.

The R&B superstar, who is married to rap icon Jay-Z, raked in an estimated $87 million in the year between June 1st 2008 and June 1st 2009 to top the survey.

The 27 year old's fortune came from a variety of projects as a singer, actress, fashion designer and brand ambassador for the likes of cosmetic company L'Oreal and computer game giant Nintendo.

She was placed far ahead of Finnish Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen, 29, and 24-year-old NBA hotshot LeBron James, who complete the top three.

Other stars to feature in the countdown include Toxic hit-maker Spears, 27, who earned $35 million in the last 12 months, while teenage Disney sensations Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers tie in seventh place with Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe and the world's highest-paid supermodel Gisele Bundchen with $25 million.

'The Secret Life Of The American Teenager' 'Opens Up Avenues For Parents And Teens To Talk'

Shailene Woodley, star of ABC Family's controversial hit The Secret Life of the American Teenager, is back with even more controversial secrets for season three. Her character, Amy, has had her baby so now the focus of the drama is young motherhood.

"The baby's out," Woodley said. "No more belly. She's dealing with the baby and trying to balance normal teenage life and being a mother."

Babies are drama for Amy, but working with twin stage babies has just been a joy for Woodley. "It's so adorable. They look identical. They're actually incredible. They've never screamed with me in scenes I've done with them. But I was holding one of them once and he was staring up at the boom mike and waving to people behind the camera, paying attention to everything but the scene."

Unlike Amy, however, Woodley has the foresight to wait for motherhood. "When you hold the kid it's just, I mean they're adorable but I'm not anxious for taking care of it and staying up late and not sleeping and changing diapers all the time. So I definitely want to get my life out of the way before I start a family."

The handling of teen pregnancy has made Secret Life a hot button show. Woodley's experience with young fans has been mild and pleasant. "I haven't seen any pregnant 15-year-olds, but sometimes I'm shocked. A little little girl will come up, 'Can I have a picture' and I'm like, 'What are you doing watching the show?' like little eight year olds! I didn't know the things that they know now."

If there is any negative feedback out there, Woodley just puts it in context. "I think negative feedback of course is a great thing, not necessarily that you have to change anything but everyone's entitled to their own opinions. I think it's interesting when you meet someone who's like, 'You shouldn't put that on TV' and you can have conversations. The way I see it is if we do put it on TV, it opens up avenues for parents and teenagers to talk. Sometimes they're like, 'Well that's still bad' and other times, 'You're right, you're right.' It's not controversial and people who try to make it about that, it's cool to have conversations with."

Robert Pattinson is desperate to return home to London because he's sick of obsessive female fans hassling him in New York.

The Twilight star is currently filming his new movie, "Remember Me," in the Big Apple, and was recently struck by a taxi while trying to escape a group of over-excited devotees.

Pattinson has reportedly become so annoyed with the behavior of girls on the streets of Manhattan, he has started pining for his native Britain.

A source tells the New York Daily News, "Robert is dying to get back home. He's so over everything. He's overwhelmed by all the girls - they terrify him! He says girls grab his neck and clothing all of the time, and he's not used to that. Fans don't do that to him in London. Everyone there is a little cooler about the fame thing, which is what he's used to."

And the heartthrob actor is so unhappy with life in America, even his co-stars are concerned about him.

The source adds, "He's so skinny and stressed. Everyone on set is worried about him... Robert doesn't understand why everyone is going so crazy over him. He's embarrassed by the way girls throw themselves at him. The girls here are stalking him. He stayed in two different hotels over the course of four days just to try to escape the fans who were following him. He's afraid that if he gives a hand, they'll take the whole arm. The singer was spotted wielding a needle in Manhattan parlour East Side Ink on Wednesday night, and website TMZ.com reports that she etched umbrella designs and the letter R on three resident artists.

The session could end up costing her dear because tattooists need a license to hold a needle in New York.

Lawmakers tell the website Rihanna could be fined almost $2,000 for the three misdemeanor offenses.

A New York City Health Department Spokesperson says, "Only licensed tattoo artists can administer tattoos in the city according to the City's Health Code. We are sending someone down to follow up on this."

Britney Spears' Dad To Continue Legal Control

Britney Spears will be under the control of her father until at least 2010 - Jamie Spears has obtained a $1.5 million bond to continue acting as his daughter's legal guardian.

Spears' father was made conservator of her estate after her 2008 meltdown which led to the star being taken to hospital for psychiatric evaluation. The Toxic hit-maker's dad filed a legal document on Sunday certifying he has handed the cash over to the court so he can remain Spears' legal guardian until at least the end of this year.

The $1.5 million bond, reportedly made up of Jamie's own money, has been put in place in a bid to prevent the singer's assets being pillaged, according to RadarOnline.

It is unclear why the bond was filed so long after the court-ordered conservatorship was introduced last year.

Katy Perry Denies Threatening Australian Designer Katie Perry

Katy Perry has denied threatening her Australian namesake with legal action over a clothing range - after the fashion designer accused the star's management of bullying herinto giving up her trademark.

Perry's attorneys targeted Katie Perry, also known as Katie Howell, who runs a self-titled loungewear company in her native Australia after the singer's team attempted to file a trademark protection order in the country.

The clothing-maker claimed she had received a letter form Perry's lawyers ordering her to cease trading and withdraw her right to use the name Katie Perry on all her goods - and she vowed to contest the demands in court.

She said, "It really felt like I was being intimidated and bullied into signing everything away. (The letter) asked me to give up the trademark, withdraw sale of my clothes, withdraw any advertising and any websites, and sign that I will not in the future use a similar trademark to Katy Perry. I pretty much burst into tears. love my business. I'm not going to give it away without a fight either."

She also issued an emotional plea to Perry in an Internet video - urging the star not to destroy her company.

The "I Kissed A Girl" hitmaker has now acknowledged the row in a post on her website - but insists she never planned to take legal action over the issue and accuses the press of blowing the issue out of proportion.

A statement on the star's official website reads, "In the course of securing trademark protection for Katy Perry in Australia, it came to the attention of her representatives that Katie Howell, a clothing designer in Australia, had filed an application for trademark protection under a similar name in connection with her own clothing design business. A routine notice letter was sent to Ms. Howell, as is customary in trademark practice, alerting her of Ms.Perry's intended application."

Perry herself adds, "This is a routine trademark application, and I certainly haven't sued anyone. As usual, some of the press seems to have delighted in creating a story where there is none."

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere isn't fazed by the misspelled tattoo on her back because she doesn't have to look at it.

The 19 year old has the saying Vivere senza rimipiantic - meaning live without regret in Italian - etched on her back, but the tattooist made a mistake with the spelling.

But Panettiere isn't bothered about the incorrect inking, as she can't even see it.

She says, "It is misspelled, whatever, I just put my own spin to it. Chances are I'll probably get it fixed, but that's why I love having it on my back because I don't get bored of it. I don't have to stare at it all the time, but then you have it on your back and you don't realize that it's misspelled either!

The teen pop stars were held up for two hours after trucks carrying their stage were stopped at the US-Canadian border.

The documents offer the clearest account yet on the state of Jackson's financial empire, which is expected to become the focus of a legal battle between the singer's family and creditors.

Jackson had $567.6 million in assets, including his Neverland Ranch, his share of the Sony/ATV Music Publishing catalog that includes the rights to songs by the Beatles, and an assortment of cars, antiques and collectibles, according to a statement of financial condition prepared by Washington-based accounting firm Thompson, Cobb, Bazilio & Associates.

The five-page report says Jackson had debts of $331 million, leaving him with a net worth of $236.6 million. Highlighting his shaky financial health, the singer known for his lavish shopping sprees had just $668,215 in cash, according to the report, which is dated June 12, 2007.

The report says the accounting of Jackson's finances is "based on information produced by his advisers." It paints a pictures of Jackson's tangled finances and the mountain of debt he left behind.

The report values Jackson's 50 percent stake in the Sony/ATV Music Publishing catalog — his most prized assets — at $390.6 million.

Another of Jackson's prized possessions, his Neverland Ranch, is valued at $33 million, according to the report. It says Jackson took out a $23 million loan against the 2,500-acre property in the rolling hills of Santa Barbara County.

He also had $20 million worth of cars, antiques, collectibles and other property.

Selena Gomez got to make a movie with her best friend, Demi Lovato. Princess Protection Program casts the Disney sensations as adversaries, so it was a really tough acting job.

"Sometimes our director would have to say, 'Okay, girls, remember you don't like each other,'" Gomez said. "So that was a bit of a challenge."

Ultimately, the film's message is that they become friends, just as in real life. "What I really like about it is the friendship element. A lot of little girls look up to Demi and I's friendship because I've known her since I was seven, and we've gone through so much together and that's what I really appreciate, is that there are such thing as having girls as your best friend for a really long time. Of course it's not easy but you go through all those things and that was really nice having that message come across."

It helps going through celebrity when you have a close friend going through it two. Gomez has just been a star for two years since Wizards of Waverly Place has been on the air, and Demo Lovato got her start in last year's Camp Rock.

"It's also a double-edged sword because it's nice to have people who aren't in the business too, because it's refreshing to not talk about everything going on and talk about you know normal things," says Gomez.

For young girls who think being famous is all it takes to be a princess, maybe "Princess Protection Program" can teach them a lesson too. "Being a princess means being able to just find things that make you a princess," Gomez explained. "I don't think there's a specific way to be certain, like oh, okay you got to be pretty, you got to be this or that. It's just kind of finding all the quirks about yourself that make you who you are."

R.I.P Michael Jackson Died

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Beyonce's Label Hits Back At Cancellation Reports

Beyonce's record label bosses have come to the R&B superstar's defense against allegations she pulled out of a nightclub show, insisting she never agreed to perform in the first place.

The Crazy In Love hit-maker has been threatened with a $1 million lawsuit by Joey Morrissey over claims she scrapped plans to sing at his M2 club in New York last Saturday. Morrissey alleges he agreed to pay Beyonce $200,000 for the gig, but it was axed four days before it was scheduled to take place because she was preparing for the opening night of her U.S. tour on Sunday.

The club boss told New York Post gossip column PageSix, "They said they were too busy with the launching of the tour and that they wouldn't have time to do the kickoff party. We sold tables for thousands of dollars for the show, and spent $100,000 renting a soundboard and other equipment, as per their stipulations... They've been totally unwilling to agree to another show."

However, executives at Beyonce's label Music World/Columbia Records are adamant it is Morrissey's fault for falsely advertising the show with a performance by the beauty - instead of her sister Solange, who was due to sing at M2.

A company spokesperson says, "Beyonce never had a contract with the club itself and no one in her camp dealt directly with the venue. The superstar was never scheduled to perform, but was to serve as a co-host and introduce singer/songwriter Solange's performance. Patrons were falsely promised a performance by Beyonce."

Beyonce kicked off the latest leg of her I Am... world tour at the Big Apple's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, when she was joined on stage by her rapper husband Jay-Z.

The children didn't know Nick was arriving - and they were understandably more excited to greet the teen sensation than talk to Obama. "It was great," Jonas told People outside the Executive Mansion. "He came up and thanked me for meeting his daughters and playing for them. I said, 'It's a pleasure to meet you.' He said, 'It's a pleasure to meet you, too.' Next Monday's episode of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' on TLC will be a retrospective of the couple's 10 years of marriage. After that, fans will have to wait a while for new episodes.

Yesterday Jon and Kate Gosselin made the announcement on their show that they are officially separating after months of tabloid speculation. Before the episode aired various news outlets had confirmed that divorce papers had been filed in Pennsylvania.

But despite the news, the show will continue. According to statement from TLC, the show will take a brief hiatus while the family adjusts to the changes. "During this time the family will take some time off to regroup, and then a modified schedule will be in place to support the family's transition. TLC continues to support the Gosselin family and will work closely with them to determine the best way to continue to tell their story as they navigate through this difficult time."

The Gosselins signed a contract for 40 new episodes this season and only 6 have aired so far.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - Paris Hilton said she studied the culture of Dubai and promised the Middle East version of her reality show will steer clear of the drinking and the swearing it had in Los Angeles and London.

The remarks came as Hilton, 28, launched the Mideast edition of her "Paris Hilton's My New BFF" series in Dubai, a glitzy sheikdom in the United Arab Emirates. BFF stands for best friends forever. "I wanted to know everything about this place first because I wanted to make sure everything was OK," the hotel heiress was quoted as saying by The National newspaper Thursday. "I just want to respect everyone here."

The fame-loving Hilton promised to dress conservatively and said her Dubai-based MTV series will be open to women only. There will be no finger pointing and laughing at anybody, the show's producers said. "I expect to learn a lot here. It's a completely different world," Hilton also said.

Twenty-two contestants will try their best to become Hilton's new BFF in the 20 days she will spend in the Emirates. No air date has yet been set for the Mideast show. When not filming her reality show, intended for broadcast throughout the Arab region, Hilton will explore the desert, go camel riding, get a henna tattoo and go skiing on Dubai's famed artificial ski slope inside a shopping mall.

The show's producer Michael Hirschorn said that the filming will last some three weeks, while the finale will be filmed in Los Angeles. The plan is to build "My New BFF" into a global franchise, with Hilton searching for BFFs around the world.

Hilton previously filmed two seasons in Los Angeles for MTV and one in London for British television. Contestants were competing fiercely for the title in the U.K. and the U.S. versions of the show. They drank alcohol and used foul language and tactics to earn it - something producers said will not be allowed in Dubai.

Recent rumblings in the press seem to suggest that the Jonas Brothers are not the hot commodity they once were. There a number of catchy pop verses, clean melodies, and new country flavored instrumentations thrown in the mix for a different vibe.

The biggest surprise is an earnest ballad duet titled "Before the Storm" featuring Nick Jonas and former flame Miley Cyrus. Fans also will not be disappointed with other perks included. Kendra is busy planning for her new arrival, including reading books and watching baby television shows. Despite her impending responsibility, Hank insists she won't lose her spontaneity. "Will she still have her little wild time? Yeah! I don't want that to change. I want her to be spontaneous," he insists.

What about more Playboy shoots? Hank doesn't expect Kendra to do any more spreads, but never say never: "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it!"

'Twilight' Lands 12 Teen Choice Nominations

Vampire love story Twilight is leading the charge for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards' nominations with an impressive 12 nods.

The blood-sucking film has been named in the Choice Movie: Romance and Choice Movie: Drama categories, where it will face stiff competition from Tom Hanks' Angels and Demons, Brad Pitt's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Beyonce Knowles' Obsessed and Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire.

And its stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart - who are at work on the franchise's second installment New Moon - have earned recognition for their own efforts, in categories for Choice Movie Actor and Actress in a Drama.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is in close competition with 10 nods in categories including Choice Movie: Music/Dance, while its stars Zac Efron andVanessa Hudgens are up for Choice Movie Actor and Actress in a Music/Dance film.

The teen musical ties with singer/actress Miley Cyrus and hit teen TV dramaGossip Girl, whose star Blake Lively will face off against Cyrus in the Choice Female Hottie category, battling it out with Megan Fox, Beyonce Knowles andVanessa Hudgens for the title. Teen fans will have a bevy of Hollywood hunks to choose from in the male category, including Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford, Zac Efron, Taylor Kitsch, Robert Pattinson and The Jonas Brothers.

The musical trio has landed nine nominees, including Choice Movie: Music/Dance, Choice TV Actor: Comedy, Choice TV: Breakout Show and Choice Music: Love Song, among others.

The Jonas Brothers will host the ceremony, which will air live TV on August 10th. Teenage fans have been asked to vote for their favorites online.

Lindsay Lohan Under Investigation Over Missing Jewelry

Lindsay Lohan is at the center of a London police investigation in connection with the theft of jewelry from a magazine photo-shoot.

The actress was in the English capital recently; when she posed for an upcoming spread in fashion glossy Elle, according to sources. Website HolyMoly.com claims the actress kept asking about the gems on loan for the shoot - and then allegedly left with them.

An insider tells the website, "She kept going on about the jewels, asking if she could have them. We all thought she was joking." The jewelers realized the $45,000 worth of bling was missing after the shoot and contacted magazine bosses, who insisted they had no knowledge of what had become of the gems.

The editors and jewelers then spent two weeks trying to get a response from the Mean Girls actress, but she reportedly left the U.K. last week without getting back to them. According to the website, the matter was handed over to British police late last week.

This isn't the first time Lohan has been linked with stolen goods - Louis Vuitton bosses reportedly refuse to deal with her anymore after she repeatedly nabbed stuff from their shoots, and the actress was caught up in a fur coat fracas after allegedly taking home a Russian student's$11,000 mink from a New York club last year.

The coat's rightful owner, Masha Markova, claimed Lohan swiped her coat - a gift from her grandmother - as she left a private party. Markova feared she'd never see the fashion item again, but couldn't believe her luck when she saw Lohan wearing it in a magazine photo. After threatening legal action and going public with the coat story, Markova's fur was returned to her.

Lohan's publicist failed to respond to WENN about this story before we went to press.

'Hannah Montana' To End After Next Season

Disney star Miley Cyrus will quit her role as Hannah Montana when the show's fourth season ends next year.

The 16 year old skyrocketed to stardom as a normal schoolgirl who leads a double life as a pop star at night. Rumors Cyrus was itching to move on from the TV series were silenced when she signed up for another season of the hit show earlier this month.

However the star's dad Billy Ray Cyrus - who also plays her father in the program - has confirmed the fourth season will be her last.

He tells Access Hollywood, "Quite frankly, I give a lot of credit to Miley for taking it to another year. She didn't want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did... She wanted there to be an official ending to Hannah Montana."

Cyrus is scheduled to tape 11 episodes and a special one-hour series finale starting in January.

Miley Cyrus Denies Hanging Up On Radio Station

Miley Cyrus has hit back at accusations she cut short a phone interview with a radio show in Florida after the DJ began asking uncomfortable questions - insisting she simply ran out of time to talk.

Internet gossips have been awash with speculation about Cyrus' new body piercing ever since the singer/actress posted a picture of herself and her mother on her Twitter.com page earlier this week.

Demi Lovato Will Be Singing New Songs On Tour This Summer

The Disney singer and actress Demi Lovato will be hitting the road this summer with American Idol season 7 runner up David Archuleta. In a recent interview with MTV news Lovato explained: "My plans for this tour are definitely to play more music, it's going to be a longer set, which I'm really excited about. I'm playing new songs for the new record and half the songs are new."

Dad Urges Lindsay Lohan To Seek Professional Help

Lindsay Lohan's father is so worried about her excessive drinking he has urged the troubled star to seek professional help.

Michael Lohan is convinced his famous daughter turned to alcohol for comfort following her split from on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson earlier this year.

And Lohan fears the actress, who was arrested twice in 2007 on drink driving charges and has spent time in rehab, could be heading for trouble again.

He says, "She's out there drinking and partying and she should not be doing that. People see her drinking. She should stay away from it. With the drugs, I think she's in a much better place than she used to be. But I have a problem with her being even on prescription medication."

Lohan has even waded into the debate with TV doctor Drew Pinsky, who recently criticized Lindsay's ongoing battle with alcohol and drugs, insisting she needs to suffer a "mortal wound" to shake her into sobering up.

The actress was infuriated by Pinsky's comments, but her father has backed the "Celebrity Rehab" star and his opinions.

Lohan adds, "Dr. Drew has what it takes to help anyone that has any kind of problem. It doesn't have to be drugs, it doesn't have to be alcohol, it can be any kind of emotional or psychological problem."
