Next Monday's episode of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' on TLC will be a retrospective of the couple's 10 years of marriage. After that, fans will have to wait a while for new episodes.Yesterday Jon and Kate Gosselin made the announcement on their show that they are officially separating after months of tabloid speculation. Before the episode aired various news outlets had confirmed that divorce papers had been filed in Pennsylvania.
But despite the news, the show will continue. According to statement from TLC, the show will take a brief hiatus while the family adjusts to the changes. "During this time the family will take some time off to regroup, and then a modified schedule will be in place to support the family's transition. TLC continues to support the Gosselin family and will work closely with them to determine the best way to continue to tell their story as they navigate through this difficult time."
The Gosselins signed a contract for 40 new episodes this season and only 6 have aired so far.
